Has anyone here had any experience in claiming the above?
We already have the Dept for Culture Media and Sport certificates for two short films.
The next stage is to submit the claim with HMRC, which is part of the Corporation Tax return process.
One of the films was made in our 23-24 tax year for which our return has already been submitted and tax paid. I understand we now submit an updated return for 23-24 together with a form which can be completed (link to HMRC website not allowed)
And - assuming all boxes are ticked OK and questions answered - we will get a repayment
The second short film was shot and released in our most recent year- which I understand means it will allow a reduction in the tax we owe for 24-25 once the return plus above mention form is submitted (this has to be done a the same time as the tax return).
