Continuing to trade when non uk resident?

I doubt it unless there's a loophole that a switch on accountant can find. If your not a UK resident and not registered for tax then you shouldn't be invoicing as a UK Trader. You have to pay taxes where you are a resident. Best bet is to find that switched on accountant i previously mentioned to advise you.

I know its not ideal, but I need to invoice a company in south america for some work I have done for them and don't have a possibility yet of setting up a company in my new country of residence.

If I declare here in my annual tax return and pay tax as part of my worldwide income wouldn't it be acceptable?
