Champagne Prize Draw - Just take part in a survey

We are running a free champagne prize draw!

All we ask is that you take part in a survey. The survey is looking into how effective business managers/owners find email as a communication tool.

We are sharing all the results of the research with the people that take part.

For people in the London, Reading, Guildford areas we are also extending the offer of an invitation to a breakfast briefing where we will be sharing the results with the participants.

If you would like to take part simply visit surveys.ogma.co.uk - or you can get to the survey from the homepage of the main ogma website www.ogma.co.uk - just click on the bottle of champagne!

Thanks for your time reading this!

Warmest regards,

Christina

Too slow. I haven't time to wait for an email, or contact you when it doesn't arrive.

I was prepared to take the time to complete the survey, but the wait for the invitation is an annoyance and a very ineffectual way of getting information from people.

Hi Desmond,

I have had my web people make a change to the registration process.

It stills sends the email but now also offers you a link to start the survey immediately.

Thanks for the feedback!

The only reason for using an email invitation process is that we need to make sure we have real contract details for people - how else can we let them know they have won?

Many Thanks,

Christina

Hi, thanks for the call, that was an excelent piece of communication!

Glad to see that the survey now is quicker to begin and complete. I would recommend that others here take the time to complete this as it makes you consider the value and effectiveness of your emailing.

A good range of questions with some interesting points being raised.

Fingers crossed for the bottle of bubbly!

or indeed sell to them?

lol - we are a business!

If being sold to worries people - I can assure them that it is the data we are more interested in! We have lots of clients but the survey is geared towards finding out peoples experience of using email in/for business.

I spoke with Desmond this morning after he made his first (very valid) comment for a couple of minutes - but I was not selling to him! I just wanted to make sure that he took part in the survey!!

If it re-assures people here - there are questions towards the end of the survey about future contact - you have the opportunity to opt out of being contacted for 'salesy' type things :)

Like I say - it is the information we are interested in - and we are more than happy to give a bottle of champagne and a breakfast to get it!

Regards,

Christina

I have to agree with Desmond - the questions raised in the survey are interesting - I tend to just blast away with email - I might have to give it a bit more thought from now on :)

I don't mind if people try to sell to me - I can always say no :) Nobody has managed to take that right away from me yet - although I am sure somebody in the EU is working on it!
