Cancellation of Energy Efficiency Installation Scheme

I know of an Energy Efficiency Installation Contractor who successfully completed retrofit insulation on several houses and the owners are pleased with the work and yet because the Government cancelled the Energy Efficiency Scheme, the Managing Agents (who are the link between the Energy Company Funders and the said Contractor), these Managing Agents are refusing to accept an Invoice from the Contractor.

It seems the whole Funding Food Chain has been broken and I'm sure this Contractor is not the only member of the Delivery Tier that has basically been left high and dry with no Income after having paid all their subcontractors.

Do any Forum Members know if there is any help out there for Energy Efficiency Installers in this predicament?

They need to start by looking t their contract and check if what has been done is allowed contractually. If not, they go to the small claims court like every other supplier whose client won't pay.
