Yes, it is certainly possible and my business lists on all EU markets with Amazon.

The paperwork you need to supply will depend on how you want your products listed. If you do FBM then this is easier for you but not for your EU customers as they will have today taxes when you ship the item from the UK (I'm assuming you are UK-based) to the EU.

If you decide to do FBA then get ready for a world of pain. You will need to register for VAT in 6 different EU countries (which will cost about £5k and take about 4-6 months) plus you will have to do regular filings in each of these countries (again, cost about £5k annually) so you need to be sure this is with your while.

I hope this helps. Good luck whatever you decide.

thanks, I already have my French and German VAT numbers and storage facilities in both markets ( my own rented places, not fba, no way, not ever!). I plan to also ship to amazon.it and amazon.es from these storage places s sales will be quite low to spain and italy, less than the distance thresholds at least i hope.

Any other thoughts?

As I understand the rules, if you STORE STOCK in any EU country then you are obliged to register for VAT in the country. So when you say here that you plan to ship to Amazon.it and Amazon.es, as I understand it, once you start storing stock in these countries, you'll need to register for VAT there as well. Italy isn't too bad but Spain is a complete pain in the behind. Good luck!
