I'm with HSBC and haven't been that impressed with them of late tbh.
Ive done a bit of research but would be interested in hearing what banks you guys would recommend

I'm at Barclays. But after the 18 months free banking period, the charges kick in. You know stuff like £1 for the privilege of receiving a monthly statement, charges for paying cheques in (they charge you for giving them money!), 20p for use of biro etc etc . On top of that no interest. So I decided to change bank and got some details from HBSC, but on reading their small print their charges were even worse.

We use Lloyds/TSB and we have een with them for a couple of years now and we can't fault the service that they give. would seriously recommend them to anybody.
