They have cancelled my account! Had an email from them saying they have had invalid clicks on my account but that they cant provide any further information. How ridiculous, why cant they just ban whoevers IP's are making this invalid clicks. Wouldnt you know its happened just as I was about to receive a cheque from them which has taken months and months to accumulate to enough for them to send me a cheque :evil:

I have had a lot of search engines on my site could it be anything to do with their IP's?

Sorry to hear you are having problems!

Someone on the affiliate forum was saying exactly the same thing last week! And they were due money as well.

There are various theories that google do this on a regular basis. Im pretty sure they do do things like this and also they'll take the money back from the asense account holder but wont refund it to the advertisers. I also think the fact that they use cheques is quite dodgy too, although they do now do direct bank transfer.

Lets say the average payout is $500 and they payout maybe 100,000 cheques a month (it'll be far more than this) it takes 2 weeks to reach the payee by post and another 3-5 business days to clear, so they're making about 3 weeks interest on $500,000 that isnt actually theirs, per month. Even if they gave the adsense users 100% of what they get from the advertisers they'd still be making a killing just by processing money.

I need to get a millionaire to give me 1 million and give them it all right back after 1 month and walk away with the easiest £3,500 i'd ever made. It's true what they say, its easy to make money when you have it. *sigh*

EDIT: i was just basing that on a bog standard savings account, if i had a million i bet i could get 10% interest, makes me wanna scream sometimes.

Glad to hear that its not just me then. I dont know how they can justify not telling you what has been going on with your account though and they have said that there is no way of getting it back on your site once its been cancelled!
