As TotallySport has pointed out, more info is needed regarding your requirements. We offer reliable Windows and Linux hosting. We aren't 'cheap' as we don't offer 'cheap' services, we offer reasonably priced and reliable service and support for business hosting.

Feel free to drop me a PM if you want to find out more.

I'm a fairly new business selling music and such online, using Windows, which will ideally be capable of streaming music as well as dealing with ecommerce.
I'm not 100% web savvy, but i'd welcome some advice.:)

I also get orders from outside the UK and EU.

what ecommerce package are you going to use to sell and stream music?

when you know that you can start searching for hosting providers that support that package. Or ask your web developers, but IMO you shouldn't use the hosting your developers provide, and you should keep them very seperate.

Just seen replies with suggestions so thought I'd pop in my own two cents!

I use a website host with a brilliant little DIY website builder, quite a new company. They offered me a free trial and I found it so easy to use, I ended up paying a small annual fee to keep using it instead of hiring a designer which would have cost a LOT more, lol (as I have no technical coding experience myself), which included hosting, domain name and some fantastic help and support when I did get a bit stuck ( as I mentioned, I'm not techie!)

Would recommend them if you're looking to also build a website, although not sure if you're just looking for hosting?

they're called Wizz-It (dot) com.

Worth checking out their free trial if this is what you're after.

This is very sound advice given the issues that have been happening to Erol users at the moment. Essentially they are up a creek without a paddle if they do not move in the next few weeks.

Also if you are using a shopping platfom make sure it does not use anything like 'secure central' that erol used. This is because now that brightscape solutions has placed erol into liquidation there are concerns that orders will not get processed

I can recommend daily.co.uk - very reliable.

@TotallySport

May I ask you to give us some reasons?
sorry I didn't realise someone had left a question, the reason is if you fall out with one its very easy to keep on going, if your developer has control over everything they have control over you, keep yourself in control and keep the upper hand.
