Best place for market size high level data?

Hi all,
I'm currently doing some market research for myself (there's a change!) and am used to working with companies house data to get into detailed numbers of companies by location, industry, turnover.

The bit of work I need to do at the moment is just to determine a market size by industry for the whole of the UK but to include sole traders / non-ltd's.

I only really need one high level number for the total number of organisations in a particular industry but I know most of them are unincorporated.

Does anyone have any good suggestions of a non incorporated data source for the UK?

Do a trial of Experian / Hoovers or other similar data provider. Free insight you won't be able to download contact emails, but you could get extremely fine-tuned insights in a matter of seconds.
