Thinking of submitting my bands (jazz) music to Spotify, via one of these aggregators. http://www.spotify.com/int/work-with-us/labels-and-artists/artist-aggregators/

Anyone know which is the best to go with...and actually what would be involved??

- Pre-emptive answers.

We have recordings to which we own all the rights. We've produced a CD ourselves. We have 0 contracts signed between the band.

The songs are our versions of jazz songs and therefore no-one owns the right to the 'original' as it were...

From a music producer friend of mine

"2 downsides. one, it'll cost. pretty much whereever you go it'll be about £30 per album to get it online. Then you need to pay for the rights to covers... i've never sold a covers album online but i think it's a flat fee of about £10 per song, then a certain amount per sale. We'd also need to pay for a UPC barcode, that'll be another £20."
