Hi, Thanks for reading am new here please be gentle.
Currently setting up an online business but looking at premesis as will need to store stock/have an office to work out of.
Seen a warehouse type thing in ideal location which is B1 use. All sounds fine, however am trying to find out if legally I can have people i.e the public in the warehouse to collect/browse and order (you know touch things/look at quality etc)?
Have rung my council who told me to contact local business link as is their department, number invalid so contacted business link national number who also don't know.
Obviously is a big stumbling block but if I know the correct answers then am not signing into something that isn't going to work for my business.
All the other units in the little estate are same classification but open to the public but this is apparently due to them being a trade counter also, I suppose a bit like Screwfix/Plumbcentre and similar big companies.
Business link are going to call me back at end of week but just trying to research myself.
