if anyone here is into this sort of business...
was recently thinking to bring over stuff from Easter Europe. I have no idea how I'd go about it, but I could find the information. To give you an example on the potential of this... I could buy 100 pairs of jeans from Romania for £20. Good quality, new. imagine this. and not just jeans, toys, cutlery, shoes, etc. we manufacture quite a lot over there. can start by storing the stuff in my house and sell on e-bay or perhaps put together an e-commerce site, I haven't figured out just yet.
How difficult is it to succeed in this sort of business? would anyone recommend this? I've also got somebody over there that can ship the stuff for me. will I need to get any sort of authorisations first, or register as limited, or registering as sole-trader would be ok to start with?
i admit i'm not knowledgeable as I've never done it before, but looking at our prices over there, it might prove worthwile.
