Anyone with banking experience?

Im having terrible trouble with my bank and really need to speak to someone with some banking knowledge

Basically im so p*ssed off with my bank its increadible!

First someone uses my card over the internet for some company called C Q out, so i called the bank and was told that they'd cancel my card, send me out a new one and see what this company is.

I recieved the card only to discover it too had been cancelled cos i was due another out anyway. so then the 2nd one turned up, also had been cancelled. the bank could not give me an explanation as to why but said they would investigate the matter, allong with another 2 transactions that i had reported to them ( to C Q out)

The 3rd card turned up, also been cancelled, with no explanation. I was applogised to by a member of the telephone banking people and was told yet another card would come out in the post.

This 4th one was then stolen out of the post by persons unknown ( royal mail are supposedly looking into it but i very much doubt so.) by this time a further 3 transactions were made on the brand new card which i had not recieved as it had been stolen. i reported this to the police also.

The 5th card was posted out to the branch which i now have in my possession. This card has also been charged via the internet but i have no idea of the company name as it has been forwarded onto the fraud department who are supposedly dealing with this but are doing so at an alarmingly slow rate.

Also the card that i have now is often rejected at tills even thought the money is there, and then gets charged for the products anyway, which resultis in me paying for items twice.

What the hell am i to do!?!?!?

Please dont tell me to open another bank account as i have already tried this and i cannot get one anywhere

Sounds like a card on its way to you may have been stolen, starting off this whole thing and another one later - we had a card stolen by the postman a few years ago!

The bank really should give you another account and have the card sent to your branch for collection. That way, whoever has possession of your current details will not even know about the existence of the new account, let alone have access. Unless of course, there is a security issue at the bank.

Anyway, simply trying to give you new cards on your existing account in the circumstances doesn't sound very sensible.

Assuming the bank haven't suggested above, could you talk to them about it? If yiou can't get an account anywhere else, that would seem to be your only option.

I have suggested this to the bank and they have agreed to do this, providing i take in all my information again. They dont seem interested in helping anyone that has less than 500 a week goin through the account. I was treated like sh*t when i went in to tell them what had happened and im so annoyed at the bank. They gave me a poxy £10 to pay for the phone calls i had to make to the telephone banking place and a hamper of chocolate ( which to be honest was pants ) I just want someone to take me seriously and do something about all that has happened
