Any free office space/studio for start-ups?

I have just started up my freelance web design company but I need an office space or studio so I can work outside home.
(Mainly because I need to keep my work and home environment separate so I can maintain a balance, otherwise I have a tendency to become a workaholic stress-head! Also because I find working in a space dedicated to work boosts my productivity, less distractions etc.)

Are there any schemes or centres which offer free studio or office space in London?

google campus basement near old street. british library in kings cross also has free wifi and various rooms you can work in

I think Regus were doing something around Start up loans - I saw an article a while back about it.

Look for 'jelly' its co-working that happens in lots of places around the UK, typically one a day a month. As said search for 'tech hubs' and also do a search for startup 'spaces' as there is sometimes a desk free somewhere.

Its never been a better time to find somewhere to work away from a spare bedroom!
