You wont see me talking about "I suffer from "
    but
As a traditionalist. I talk to customers on the phone I see local customers and sometimes I will even go out on a job and meet customers

When I'm dealing with people on the cumperterization machine it does not feel real . It just feels like a game
Now this maybe an age thing as back in the day we never had none this stuff and we would "go and see um"

I cant be the only one ;)

I'm guessing you're refering to LinkedIn?

There is a hell of a lot of posturing, virtue-signalling and clickbait. Possibly replicated in other ways in real life.

I deliberately follow people on LI whose existence revolves around taking the p!ss and outing the insincere attention seekers.

It also comes in waves - last year's favourite being 'look at me, I've given up drinking...'

    I'm actually Max Headroom
Oh my lord, how many of the younger generation will know who Max Headroom is!

As a techie I'm used to dealing with people virtually, but I don't like it and will always prefer to deal face to face if possible. I'm used to video calls now but originally didn't like it and never started using them until forced to during the pandemic - now everyone seems to choose a video call over a coffee.

I am not a fan of the new world and way of doing business, I don't like it, but I accept it and roll with it knowing my time is approaching to pass over the reigns to a new younger generation who in turn will grumble about the upcoming even younger-still generation and things not being as a nice as it was in their day ?

Who are these people you follow Mark? That's just the kind of laugh I could do with.

LinkedIn is insufferable and filled with 'things that didn't happen'.

"I once interviewed a woman for a job. She turned up reeking of alcohol and wearing a bin-bag, but I gave her a job anyway. This year she just thanked me for turning her life around, and she's been the best employee I ever had. Just goes to show, you should never judge a book by its cover'

EURGHHHH they make me want to throw up. STOP MAKING THINGS UP IN AN EFFORT TO BE RELATABLE / RAM HOME A POINT!

My absolute favourite is James Clutterbuck - 90% parody and pisstake. There are others.

I laugh at the way that everybody takes themselves very serious on there except for @Mark T Jones who dont give a F££k and is the most successful person on there :)

    The moral of the story
Life is too short(Probably because we drink too much beer)
So just have a laugh and say bollocks 🤣🤣
