Accepting Credit card payments

Hi All
My company is just about to launch, it will be operating primarily via mail order. Which means i ideally need to accept credit card payments.
I have heard of Streamline etc but they all seem to be a little expensive. i have asked other businesses whom they use. Some use the above mentioned, others use Barclaycard, or even Ingenico (as in the case of Sainsburys)
Can anyone recommend a company that can be used?

any advise greatfully recieved

Best Wishes

I use WorldPay and they have a facility to allow you to process payments on behalf of the customer, rather than them doing it online. You would be able to upgrade to take online payments later if that is the direction your business is going in.

Might be worth checking it out. They are very efficient and I haven't had any problems with them at all.

Pilfo, your slogan does make me smile

Anyway, back on topic. To be honest, it doesn't matter what payment solution you use as you can quite easily setup a basic web form to integrate into the payment provider to take telephone orders.
