Another question regarding new sick pay

    My staff like a beer at weekends. Mondays can be a nightmare

    An employee has a skinful on Sunday and is throwing up Monday morning. Employee calls in saying they are not well and wants the day off.

    Do I have to pay them sick pay?

    Yes. If it is a regular occurrence you would need to take action under your managing absence policy.
