Hello
I am posting to this forum for help with my wife's business.
my wife started an online retail business about 18 months ago but realised it was not a viable option and had to put it to an end to go back to employment again.
The company was a limited company and is registered on Companies House.
We are now getting various emails and letters from HMRC and Companies house requesting various reports and returns.
How do we completely close a business and avoid any follow up request? I thought I had requested for the company to be struck off companies house but this appears to not be the case.
I have tried contacting HMRC for advice but when ever I phone them I get a recorded message saying they are too busy to take my call.
Any guidance would be really great.
Thank you
