Hi all.
Thanks in advance for any advice or links to help with the following:
A) I need to know what insurances I am required to have by law. I am a designer, working from home, providing a service to people all over the country (not locally!). The products I design are print based, printed by a third party printer. Do I need anything other than home insurance?
B) I don't want my address public. I'm using my father's address (200 miles away) as a 'postal address' on websites, invoices, letters etc, while my home/work address is the one used to register with HMRC. I am not using a 'trading as...' line anywhere. I don't want my name out there either as I have reason to believe I may be targeted by individuals who won't want me to be successful.
Am I doing right? Any advice/comments much appreciated. Thanks!
