I buy and sell goods on margin. Sometimes I buy from auction and sometimes from private individuals. I have all the auction invoices but I realise I have to have purchase invoices from the individuals I buy from. Shall I just number all the private invoices in sequence (missing out the auction ones) or shall I attribute the auction invoices numbers too (but not actually write out the invoice)?
