Hi,

I set up a limited company to run an e-commerce business(B2C). The company not VAT registered, so do i have to make invoice for my every sales? or is that an obligation for just VAT registered companies?

Also, I run a Dropshipping business and money comes to Paypal business account. I will transfer the money to business account. However, I am wondering that I do not have a supplier invoice, I sell products I did not purchase. Might it be a problem for me?

Thank you.

You have to record your sales in a manner that allows you to fulfill your obligations to HMRC and Companies House. You should keep downloads of your Paypal transactions in a format that allows you identify each sale.

Remember your turnover is the gross amount of the sale and Paypal expenses should be recorded separately.

If you do not have invoices for purchases made by your company you need to keep other evidence such as emails and purchase orders.
