How to Amend an Invoice (VAT) that has already been issued?

It's not for any physical goods, but for services I'll be providing. Also I've not started to provide these services to them yet. This will begin once they have made payment. So at this stage the only thing that has occurred is one invoice issued to them and they have asked for an amended one...

How to Amend an Invoice (VAT) that has already been issued?

Just wanted to add, that I'm not using any accounting software to generate invoices. It's all done manually with records kept in excel.

How to Amend an Invoice (VAT) that has already been issued?

They have not paid the original invoice (and don't intend to - so not quite sure why I'd need to issue a credit note?). They are simply requesting a new invoice with the additional details (new work) added to it.

How to Amend an Invoice (VAT) that has already been issued?

I’ve issued an invoice (with vat) to a new client and after issuing it, the client asked for a slight change in regards to what they wanted me to do. They have since asked me to add this description to a new invoice and re-issue them the invoice. What’s the best way to do this bearing I’m VAT...

    Director's salary

So what is the advantage of a director paying himself £675 x 12 = £8100 and then paying £143.86 in NI (and taking anything else via dividends). As opposed to paying themself £624 x 12 = £7488 and paying no NI? Is there any advantage in going with the former and paying the £143.86 NI?

    VAT Invoice Numbers

As I bill clients on monthly basis (all at different times of the month) they will figure it out when the following month they get an invoice numbered 0027, then the following month 0035 etc So issusing 8 invoices (or whatever the number will be), indicates the number of clients I have on board.

    VAT Invoice Numbers

Thank you for all your responses. I only have a handful of clients and do not use any software, just an excel worksheet that has been customised to my needs and that is saved as a PDF and sent over as the invoice. I prefer example B, as that way none of my clients would know approximately how...

Does a Ltd company have to legally show its trading address?

I’ve newly set up as a Ltd company and wanted to check if I legally need to display my trading address anywhere? The business has been set up with the registered office being my accountants and the trading address is my home address. I primarily work from home (online marketing/SEO) and...

What is SEO? Am I right?

He must have had a look at your site and decided on what keywords to rank you for and then built some links, thus pushing you up in the search engines and getting more visitors. As you said you got 10 times as many visitors when he did some free SEO, so when you pay for SEO you are paying for...

What is SEO? Am I right?

Yeah we all know that ;) For the people in the game I mean don't just use one type of link, vary it from all different platforms and the anchor (more so now that ever - well if Matt Cutt's is to be believed).

What is SEO? Am I right?

In a nutshell SEO consists of on-page, what's on your site and how it's configured and off-page, the number of links and the authority of the websites linking to your website with the kinds of anchor text you would like your site to rank for. 1.) Content - Have good original content and plenty...

Ranking 1st but no traffic from keyword!

As others have said and what I’m seeing at my end, the exact match for 'kitchen and furniture' is less than 10 searches each month. Even working on 10 searches and being No.1 you can expect around 30%-40&% of the traffic, so 3 to 4 visitors each month tops.
