This is open to a lot of personal opinion, but any advice suggesting what setup to go for would be useful.
Reviewing online systems it seems to come down to QuickBooks V Sage - sometimes Xero is also mentioned. These looks OK but are they worth all the cost, seems a lot when they can keep...
Thanks again for the comments. I think I confused it saying 'they might claim an entitlement to that' - I understand I own those things and they have no entitlement to them directly, but they are a part of the idea still. If I make a Ltd company and make some profit, do they have a right to a...

The 'agreement' says they have 20% of the company though, so that would include 20% of the above would it not - if they are used for the company.
'You do not ask them to take part, in any way; get someone else. Lots of programmers out there.'
'As they failed to work with you before why would you even consider working with them now, Keep your 100% shares and if needed just hire people or companies to do the work required.'
I don’t want...
Thanks for all the comments.
Seems to be 2 options to cover any issues:
1) I ask them now, before I fully revisit, for 20% of all costs to date. If they refuse to pay, they are clearly leaving the agreement.

Hi,
I have a query that I could do with some help/advice on please.

The supplier is UK based company but we are effectively selling the product/service - acting as the middle man and taking an administration fee.
My partner is oversees, knows the business well and needs a UK 'face' and has offered me the proposal. I agree they might be open to a better % but...
Many thanks for the reply.
Yes, on reflection my OP was a bit too vague!
What is the product/service?
Affectively the product/service is sales. We sell and take an admin fee on sales, nothing new or exciting. The system/database they have is very good at managing this process. I have seen it...
Hi all,
Someone I have worked with before was commissioned to develop a system for another client. The system worked well and they have now approached me as a UK contact (which they need) to see if I would like to become a partner and use the system independently.
The deal they have offered me...
Thanks for the reply ethical pr.
I probably haven't explained it fully, the company isn't set up at all. I developed an idea into a product with the 'help' of two friends. We have a verbal agreement, nothing else.
Now the product is ready to launch I will need to register the company etc...
Hi,
I have a query that I could do with some help/advice on please.
I approached two friends (Mr A (Alright) and Mr B (Bad)) with a business idea some time back and the idea was that I would pay them for their support as they both had skills that I required. Rather than accept payment they...
