    Yahoo Small Business

I was thinking of using Yahoo Stores in the past. I emailed Yahoo some questions, including the one you asked. They replied that the Yahoo Stores service is not currently available to residents in the UK.

Copyright and t shirts (and other merchandise)

Thanks for the responses and confirming what I thought. So if you were to google 'tshirts' and click on the first website, this website would either have licences to print ALL the designs they sell or they have the chance of being sued, closed down, etc, tomorrow?

Copyright and t shirts (and other merchandise)

Hi all, We are starting a t shirt business using mostly our own designs. I was wondering how the copyright law works for t shirts. Doing research on websites selling t shirts it appears that almost all are selling t shirts with images of film stars, pop stars, logos, etc. Everything from...

BREAKING NEWS: HMRC self assessment website crashes

I did mine Tuesday evening. I got to the submit page at about 10.30 PM and then.... nothing. It kept logging me out (but the info was saved). I kept logging in and trying to submit and eventually got submission confirmation at about 1.30 AM.

    New Template Review

Hi Bill, I agree with dave_n that there's too much white space around the logo. First impressions count and it looks a bit ameuterish compared to the rest of the site. It needs tightening-up in my view. The site did take a long time to load. Normally I would not have waited so long and gone...

150% profit on any outlay in 12 months.

Lots of people get closed down by bookies if the customer is detrimental to their business, i.e. they win too much. Part of the T&C of bookies will include something along the lines of 'We reserve the right to decline any bet requested'. I'm pretty sure you'll find a similar term at bet365...

T shirt start-up needing your advice

Justin, I'm in Stratford-upon-Avon. There are a few t shirt printers around here, not sure if they screen print though, I'll be looking into it in a few days. My trouble is I wouldn't know a good screen printer from a bad one at the moment, so any suggestions/recommendations would be great...

150% profit on any outlay in 12 months.

I would have guessed that OP was using a betting exchange such as Betfair where you bet against other punters. Usually better odds (if you can beat the commission) and you'll never be closed down. If the bets are going on the big games there isn't even a problem with liquidity. I use Betfair to...

Ecommerce solutions - UK vs US

Thanks for your answers Paul. I may well be in touch. Just a quick comment on the SEO side of things. I've previously built a website using SiteSell and they automatically submit web pages to the SE after they have been built. That's what I meant about being 'automatic'. I'm getting the...

Ecommerce solutions - UK vs US

Hi all, We are looking at opening an Ecommerce store. We are on a really tight budget and have been shopping around. It apears that the US versions of stores are significantly cheaper than UK equivalents. We were wondering what disadvantages it would be to us if we were to go American. We...
