    business role models whos yours?

Yes, it is. Interestingly enough, the fellow posting before me seems to be inspired by 'hip-hop' entrepreneurs also, as the stage names of the people he mentions are Birdman and Master P respectively.

    Website Disappeared from Google

Apparently there is something called the 'Google Dance' where ranking of new websites is really erratic to begin with - before settling down to a more stable ranking. This may be what you are experiencing.

    4Media - Anyone Used Before?

Hi everyone, We were recently approached by a company called 4Media who apparently offer editorial coverage and other product placement opportunities on radio and television (but not in the traditional sense of an 'advert'). They say they can get coverage for our tea business in mainstream...

    Google+ Pages launched last week

Exciting stuff. Interesting to know whether other people will be taking the same approach as webstore though - to completely ditch Facebook in favour of Google+, or whether most companies will operate both simultaneously?

Dealing with complainers who want a refund.

I'd echo what Adamchy says - always be objective and rational in your correspondence. Think as a judge would think if it went to court - if you are offering to put the problem right, and the customer is refusing, then they are not letting you resolve the issue, and they are in the wrong...

We use ODesk- and had our blog done by a provider on here. It cost us something like £130 altogether, looks pretty good too.

    Marketing a Luxury Brand?

I think a little celebrity involvement wouldn't go amiss either if you can get it. People buy luxury bags for the image, and if a few celebs are seen out and about with one of your bags, then it just further resonates with that 'exclusive' feel. Try sending some of your bags out to the...

    Help Please - Clothing Manufacturer

Alibaba.com would be a good place to start if you're looking for overseas manufacturers. As for UK manufacturers, I'd just do a few Google searches and see what you come up with.

    UK's first 'Dry Bar'

Really like the concept too. Not sure how appealing this type of venue will be for people who aren't ex-alcoholics though (especially if, rightly or wrongly, it develops the perception that this is the only clientèle the venue receives). But, even so, it's a good thing that the owners are...

Road names in a postcode area?

I'd second what Scalloway says. Try using OCR software - we've used it before with success. But it depends how intricate/small/complex your data table is.

    Newsletters

Aren't statistics ultimately the results of what people find to work and not work? Care to share any experiences on your previous newsletter campaigns Mike? Maybe it would help further express your views, with some solid evidence of newsletters not working, and add value to other forum...

Client lists etc - how to manage and market to

Mailchimp offers the ability to manage your lists to a limited extent. We use MailChimp - and I would certainly recommend.
