    Vegetarian haggis?

My expertise is in being a vegetarian. Which as I am, there is no doubt in this matter. I am constantly told the same things by meat eaters, therefore I imagine I can summarise this thread without reading it. If you are an Omnivore, and have been since youth, you are by definition an expert in...

    Friday thoughts - Threshers

Definately. I save massive amounts by shopping for various things in different places - the most overpriced things in Supermarkets tend to be toiletries, fresh veg and sauces, all of which are hideously overpriced, and can be obtained for around a third of the price by visiting the local grocers...

    Vegetarian haggis?

Of course I know better. As a long time Veggie, I've heard all the ridiculous crap ( People saying 'why do we eat meat shaped burgers/sausages' is possibly my favourite. Think about it...) that Omnivores come out with. Theres no doubt that those of us that have these conversations daily know...

    Friday thoughts - Threshers

You say the quality is not too bad and prices cheap in the first sentence but then in the last say the opposite...???!! Supermarkets are not cheap or quality, it tends to be that people nowadays know no better, or with most products they are branded and there is little room for difference in...

    Vegetarian haggis?

I couldn't give two ****s about sheep or cows, personally. If the sheep or cows werent there, in their place would be a field full of veg which could feed many more people. If I'm saving lives, they are human ones.

    Vegetarian haggis?

Not going to read all this thread as its probably full of misinformed or borderline offensive non-veggies talking crap, but sausages and Burgers can easily be vegetarian as its the shape and frying style that makes them what they are, not the ingreadients. Not sure about Haggis. The veggie...

Britain worst place in Europe - to live!

Not done Mogadishu, but I have spent a week in Port au Prince, Haiti, and a couple of days in kingston, Jamaica. Was far better than the Northern ex mining community I used to live in in England, although the chances of getting stabbed were significantly higher.

    The Daily Mail

Ah, was that the column that basically said ' no young gay persons death can be of natural causes as being gay isn't natural'? Excellent journalism there.

    String of onions ??

Dirty up an old OEM shirt (Marseille football club), draw on a bit of stubble and give her a baguette and hey presto, you've got your average southerner. A scooter is an optional extra.

    Support Online Gambling Deregulation

The aim of campaigns like the one I've linked to isn't to open up the industry to the point where Joe Bloggs can set up a dodgy casino table site from an island in the pacific, but to the point where a company from any E.U country could operate throughout the E.U, without hinderance from the...

    Support Online Gambling Deregulation

The Online Gambling industry has recently made a move to force the E.U into debating the standardisation of gambling law throughout the continent. The Right2bet petition (www.right2bet.net ) aims to be one of the first issues debated under the 'Citizens inititiative' - which states that any...

United Commonwealth Or EU (United Europe)

Well for starters theres already Anzus (or whatever its called) and Nafta to compete with, the South Americans will tell you what happens (or more often, doesn't happen) when trade blocs compete in this manner. Location - or rather ability to do business at the same time (remember the countries...

And these people cook our meals?!

Saw this last night, terrible, terrible televsion. they seemed to have ditched the original competition format and introduced a 'x factor/ apprentice' style feel to it. Why?
