I work as the Finance Manager for a medium sized business (Approx. £3million turnover). The business is owned by a husband and wife.
Our current accountants are good in the sense that they competently carry out the bookkeeping and ensure that the business is compliant with all HMRC rules. They...
I just wondered if anyone had found anything similar to Inventory Labs (US only) for Amazon UK? Inventory management, listing capabilities, accounting all built in.
Thanks for that. That's actually a better answer than I expected. I'm selling dropshipped refurbished "xxxx" and "xxxxx" is in the domain. I haven't asked for approval, and don't have any plans to.
Phone, email and address details are on the site if "xxxx" need to contact me. I haven't invested...
I suspect that I already know the answer to this, but thought it worth asking.
Would someone be allowed to include a trademarked product name in their domain name, if they were not an authorised reseller?
For example, could I have www . refurbishednokiashop .co. uk selling refurbished...
Correction, the .com is not on first page of google for the search term, it's on the first page of google for search term store (blue widget store), which is the full domain name, which obviously no one else was targetting. I was just getting over excited. Still , the .co.uk is top of Yahoo...
There's only one link showing up in Yahoo, so it clearly didn't take many to get it there. :D
The weird thing is, I'm talking about he .co.uk domain, which is where all my products and content are.
However, I've also got the .com domain, which I'm going to use to target the same products but...
I find it strange that it is easier to rank on Yahoo than Google.
Clearly both Y and G are using different algorithims, but surely you are competing against exactly the same sites on both search engines.
As an example, I've just launched an ecommerce site promoting a specific product, with...
Ok, fair enough, I'm just used to squeezing everything I can out of my page titles:) I would agree that if you've got the opportunity to make your title appealing and not just keyword orientated then you should make the most of it, as you'll get more clicks as a result of being appealing to the...
I shouldn't think it's turning into a showdown (apart from the fact that I'm very far from a SEO Consultant, whatever one of those is:D), as it's only a few people expressing opinions. It would be a shame if you reacted so strongly to every response given to your posts on a forum - you do seem...
Only if they're just targetting the keywords "teddy bears" "personalised teddy bears" and "all occasions".
Would the first step not be to identify what keywords are going to be targetted, or I have I missed that in the thread?
How are you making sales if you can't accept money? I just tried and it said that you couldn't accept payment.
It doesn't actually look that bad as a site, but I wouldn't buy an expensive product with the limited details that you're providing, and I also wouldn't feel comfortable purchasing...
I use software to create the accounts and make the postings, I just upload my content.
Although I'm interested in the more effective things - feel free to share :D
I don't use duplicate content, and it isn't hard work :D, so I must have got lucky (or use some quality outsourcing!).
I don't want to open the debate up about dupliate content, but I do believe that for a link wheel to work, the sites need to be indexed, and there is far more chance of that...
When I'm setting up linkwheels I follow this method, always using original content:
1. Post content, ping, social bookmark and submit RSS feeds
2. 1 week later post content, ping, social bookmark
3. 1 week later, add links to money site, linkwheel links, ping
4. 1 week later, add content...
