I have a facebook for the shop and update it all the time with new stock info etc
but i wondered how other business use facebook to promote themselves? any tricks i should be doing?
I've never really thought about it causing a negative view of the shop - this concerns me as like I said the machine is located in the shop I run even though there are about 5 other concessions in the garden centre
does anyone else on this forum have a cash machine facility in their shop?
as a large(ish) garden centre we decided it would be a good facility to offer, it is placed in the gift shop, which I run
I find it incredible that people expect this to be a free service!!
I get complaint after...
I am desperate to find a cheap but cheerful furniture wholesaler that stocks shabby chic / white furniture
the gift shop i run is pretty large and i would like a few pieces of larger furniture available to buy
i currently have a few bits of metalware shelve units from dutch imports but...
I have the exact same problem! my dad is the prime example of this too, he thinks my shop is over priced (its really not, nothing but the normal markup sometimes less on what I buy) but the only shops he will part with money are poundland, bargain madness etc
it is really fustrating to hear...
for us- the last week in April was worst week ever - but first week in May so far, amazing! it is almost like people have got bored of being indoors and have come out in their masses! not complaining!
I know we have touched a bit on this subject in previous posts but i wondered if any one else feels the same as me
does anyone else have quiet spells in their shop where you are just busy doing paper work behind the counter with a brew on when a customer walks in and suddenly you remember you...
LOVE this wish list idea! this would work pretty well in my shop too, always get felas coming in saying how much their wife loves this shop so thought id get her something, then we spend ages deciding what she would like!
i am so glad its not just me struggling this week! weve had a work experience lad in all week, really enthusiastic but unfortunatly weve had the quietest week ever! today so far ive taken about 40 quid and there is no customers around at all!!! its really eerie! and the weathers not even bad today!
wow! your really lucky to have such a big name heading your way! i can only think it will do you good, do you sell other items other than womenswear? i remember when i visited a jamie resturant they also offer lot and lots of giftware and jamie merch - dont know if this would affect you or not?
