Anyhow, I started my online dress stores a month back, and I have:
- done its SEO properly (brings 30-40 traffic, will take time to be more effective)
- submitted on traffup (bringing 70-80 visitors)
- Have its twitter and facebook...

I was doing SEO for a dress store. Its sales used to go down for a particular season, and it was hard to maintain the same level of traffic.

I agree with smart web designer, it depends on the type of your website. If you are providing web service, then you can tag it to your website. It is a very useful way of not just promoting your website, but to initiate discussions among your customers.
There would be no use of it mate. Your blog would not be index and its post would not show up in search engine listings.
