work out the costs for both options, best you can - include a contingency for the repairs option. Then combine that with a pros and cons for each and hopefully you should see a clear winner....

Check out WordPress and WooCommerce before you decide anything. Give yourself a couple of days to get it set up, learn how to use etc

Only you will know how much space you'll need, but a couple of pointers; Get enough room to grow into, but don't over commit to a big place and cripple yourself with rent (and don't forget, rates)
You'll know better that anyone if your biz will cover the rent - it may take a couple of months to...
Split test your advertising (different ads/formats/placements etc) regularly until you have a good conversion rate, link build daily, update a couple of times a week minimum, daily is better. The right niche, you'll do your 100 quid a month easy.

Nah, the big retailers do have other sites, and many affiliates too (same effect). You don't increase sales exactly (2 sites won't really double sales, 4 sites won't quadruple)
But you get a page one on Google with 7 or so of our own sites, across many keywords, you'll do more business than...

Im really really bad at time management, and workign from home around the kids makes it even worse (wouldn't have it any other way though ;))
I do have a whiteboard above the screen to list tasks, and when I use it it really helps...

Good advice, however, you get what you pay for, and a free friend, no matter how good, may not be the best option in the medium and long term. I have found out first hand from both sides where this can lead you, and it isn't into a saving of either time or money.

Why do you only expect your sghare of the available business? If your stuck in a town or something then maybe, but this is the internet...do your plan with 10 sites (you'll need different content, slightly different prices) and take say, 50% of the sales.
