The only way to get any kind of concrete information about this is to either speak to somebody who runs a cafe very similar to the one you're thinking of or talk to an accountant who can run you through some outline costings. There isn't really any such thing as average earnings for something...
There seem to be a lot of bold promises and impressive statements in the information they've given you but what evidence have they given to support any of that? And why would they want to attract you into the business and then promise to switch off all marketing after a certain date? It sounds...
SK9 I'd recommend you have a chat with Jon Mason who's commented above. He does my insurance and has also sorted out some very specialist insurance for a couple of my clients at very reasonable prices. He knows his onions!
Have you tried your local chamber of commerce? They generally offer advise import / export so they may be able to help. Or speak to your accountant - they usually have lots of consultancy connections so they might be able to point you in the right direction.
I'd always recommend using a graphic designer and getting them to organise the printing. I largely agree with AllUpHere - many printers offer a design service but it's rarely as good as somebody who designs full time. It's an add on service to win your business, it's rarely their strength.

And of course can you make a profit doing it?
It sounds to me like your initial overheads will be quite high so I'd recommend creating a cashflow forecast. You'll need to factor...
My first piece of advice would be to cut yourself some slack. Running a business is demanding, especially if you're the sole owner with the weight of every decision on your shoulders. I'm sure you know the stats that only 20% of businesses survive more than 5 years & only about 20% of those the...
It all depend what you're selling & who to. If it's a fun product that people will share through social media then go that route, but exactly as Ethical PR says, if your target market aren't social media users there's little point marketing there.
A couple of things that haven't been mentioned...
I would say Ethical PR has given you exactly the advice you need. Don't rush ahead trying to decide on your sales and marketing strategy unless you can find some concrete evidence that there's a need for your product and that enough people are willing to pay the price you need to charge to make...
Trying to get a business of the ground nationally with zero marketing budget is going to be a massive challenge. Social media can potentially help with that & is great for visual businesses but without example video you would be struggling to create content that has any real substance. I think...
