    Thank you. I have done this form but heard nothing back. The GB number was given instantly. There has been an announcement saying that most things won't change between parts of the UK until 1st April. So hopefully, we will all have the number by then.

    I partly agree. The charity need to provide the certificate of exemption first. Once you have this, read the government page that I pointed to. That would show they don't pay VAT on certain items. It is the sellers responsibility to then check if what they are providing is covered by that...

    Charities don't have to pay VAT on certain services but not all. You will need to check that the what you are providing is exempt. The gov.uk website at vat-charities/what-qualifies-for-relief.

    It still is illegal to advertise by motorways. There is a difference between motorways and A-roads and advertising by A-roads is legal.

    If you set their hours or wage, then they are employed by you. You are responsible for their tax and NI. A window cleaner sets his hours and his wage, so he can be self-employed.

    It is a little more complicated than eBay to use. The biggest problems we encountered were commission rates were higher than we could sell the products for plus pictures and descriptions. Unlike eBay, Amazon pick the picture and description and it is the same for the entire list of suppliers...
