I live in Vegas, if I could find a green grocers close by I would use one. The supermarket produce here is horrendous and doesn't last long. ie buy tomatoes and you need to use them that day, buy strawberries and some of them are already mouldy.
What sort of area is the green grocers in?

I'm an amateur equine photographer, not quite the same thing! Hubby has been after a decent telescope for ages now.
I wouldn't treat them any differently, and if suitable for the job I would give them a chance.
I would also have a probationary period and disciplinary measures in place regardless, so that if something went wrong with a new employee it would be easily solved.

I haven't opened a BBQ restaurant before, nor do I know how experienced you are with Pakistan culture, but keep in mind that Muslim people won't eat pork, drink alcohol and will observe Ramadan so you will see a drop in sales then. Lamb and chicken kebab style BBQ is much more popular over there...

I work 50 hours a week for free (the job was advertised as an apprentice, so the word 'intern' doesn't scare people off), so I can gain experience in a field I want to work in. I do this on top of working from home, looking at my family, etc. I'm in my 20s.

Facebook is banned in China I believe. I'm sure there are ways and means of circumnavigating the government ban but I wouldn't be able to tell you how to do that, nor does it seem a wise thing to do.
