    Anyone used SuiteCRM?

Been using Hubspot for a while and eventually got annoyed with different paywalls and operating very slow. Just about to give SuiteCRM a test on our servers, will let you know how we get on. This is Open Source CRM which needs to be installed on a Server and was just wondering has anyone else...

Software as a Service Overload (small rant)

Yes Alan you a right about traditional software integration but I am talking about the complete micro management of simple functions within a SaaS when you hit a paywall. For Example there is an arbitrary document attachment limit to emails with HubSpot. I would rather simply pay for x and...

Your leaflet drop should be targeted, your measures are uptake of traffic (across mediums) and ultimately increase in sales. I recently did the whole leaflet drop but targeted particular socio economic groups and areas (requires local knowledge or statistical data). I recorded the area of...

Software as a Service Overload (small rant)

Does it not seem like every single business function is moving into SaaS whereby we pay many multiple monthly subscription for most business functions that we have. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind paying for a good product/service as long as it is worth it but gone are the days of simply buying...

Do I need a CRM system for local business?

I use HubSpot but there are a number of pay walls you hit if you want to do something a little more advanced. Also be aware of locking all your content in one provider (you may want to migrate away in the future). The good old days of a local Act! Database are long gone and most are SAAS.

What are your thoughts about the Virtual Reality?

VR is a huge emerging market that will settle in particular key industries, entertainment, training, gaming, architecture, property sales and yes billions will be made in these areas. I do think that VR will literally hit the limits of functionality and will be stuck in these key areas however...

Should I speak to an employee about something told to me in confidence

Stay away, your motives may be pure but could so easily be abused by others. Better to cover this in additional assistance for employees presentation and do this in groups. Most larger organisation employee independent counselling services.

Need a name for my catering stall?

Strapline is the additional information beneath your logo/name that sums you up in one sentence. (McD - I'm loving it, KFC - Finger Lickin Good now changed to So Good, M&S Only at M&S, XYZ Company - Established Since 1883). Most of the larger brands have even scripted audio straplines that are...
