I think recorded delivery is the safest bet but if you are sending out a lot then perhaps this is too expensive? I always send recorded delivery and touch wood nothing has gone astray yet.
Running your own business isn't for everyone but the fact that you are looking far ahead is a very good sign. The more prepared you are in all respects the more likely you are to succeed.
