I've got a small business of which I am the only director/shareholder with no employees.
I want to purchase something personally, however don't have the full funds to do so at the moment.
From what I understand, as the value would be under £10k, I can create a director's loan that so long as...
I've just woken up to an email from Amazon saying that if we submit the tax questionnaire, they will refund us the 30% that was witheld.
All good news. Looks like they annoyed enough people for them to actually do something about it :)
I'm a creator for one of Amazon's platforms in the USA. Every month, they pay us in royalties.
When you sign up for the platform, Amazon make you fill out a tax form (W8BEN) which as a UK based company, means Amazon do not withhold any royalties percentage did to a tax treaty we have with the...
Can anyone recommend a UK bank that will let me setup a business account, without having to go into a branch?
I had a look at Starling, but I can't run my business from a mobile app service only. I also need to be able to do bank transfers to and from the USA and Bulgaria
Whilst I'd agree on the most part, it's quite a large businesses. Not just a groomers but also day care, kennels, fields, multiple staff and a fair few customers a day.
Quick question on GDPR.
Sister in law operates a dog grooming business. When someone comes in, they get them to fill out a grooming card, so dog breed, owners name, address, phone number etc etc.
They use the phone numbers to text or call the customer when the groom is complete.
How does GDPR...
So I'm in the process of building a SaaS.
My target audience is primarily US users, but also includes users from all around the world.
With this in mind, my servers are hosted in the USA and then also have a reliance on things such as Amazon AWS etc.
I'm trying to understand how this affects...
So as the director, I am also the sole shareholder. £1, 1 share.
My accounts I need to submit are only up to January 31st 2017 - there was no revenue, profit or expenses up to 31st January.
I plan on getting an accountant for my accounts in Jan 2018, but since I am at £0 across the board up...
I have a Ltd Company, i'm the only director and its a simple expense/revenue business - no share holders, debt, investors etc
I just want to make sure i'm doing this correctly. I've logged onto ewf(dot)companieshouse and "Filed Company Accounts". I did the confirmation statement and PSC...
Hi All,
I have a ltd company that I am the only director of. It is ran from my home and is an online business. At the same time, I am also employed full time and use the same office to work from.
Can someone point me in the direction of the policies or explain to me the following please...
I'm not too worried about the quality of service etc at the moment as that comes down to customer service and can be handled.
What I'm more interested about is how this would work within UK laws. For example you might have "Squeeky Windows", "Clear Glass Windows" and "Toms Window Cleaning"...
I've been talking to someone in the USA who runs a "service business".
The way it works is:
His site acts as a schedule portal for one business area. Lets say window cleaning.
He then finds companies or sole traders and sends them through his own selection process
If he likes them, he puts...
