    DSR - Cancelling

The DSR's are a horribly confusing beast - I wrote this to help come clients out, might come in useful.

    Dymo label printer...

I'm not sure on eBay compatibility, but if you're after a decent label printer you won't find better than a Zebra. Slightly more expensive than a basic Dymo, but the labels are so much cheaper and they tend to not be so fiddly.

    A UK Version of - squareup/roampay/gopayment.

I don't think (and as a consumer actually hope they don't) these will catch on in the UK/Europe due to Chip and Pin requirements. The US is all signature based (or was last time I was there - sign on an electronic pad attached to a till) so there is no difference between these devices and...

Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 - Key Code help!

From what you've said, with the PC being wiped there'll be no way to retrieve the product key from the old installation. It might be worthwhile contacting the purchaser and asking if they have the code anywhere - alternatively you can use a free email client like Thunderbird, or purchase a...

    Prestashop header image help

Sounds like your image is the wrong size and is being repeated by the css background-repeat property. Try making it 981x182px as your current image is.

I need more email addy for my lists..

Even with a guest checkout you should still be able to collect email addresses via a simple 'opt-in' checkbox. Place it just before your final confirm order button, ideally with a message stating that you won't sell details and an email will be sent every fortnight (or however often) and you...

Mary Portas "Door to door home delivery!"

If you have the resource it would be great to deliver trays/bags of dog food/cat food/cat litter etc weekly to save owners the hassle of collecting them. If you could deliver in the evenings after 6 or so to suit the working folk it might be better. Do you use a courier or your own transport...

Laws of rebranding an existing product?

I think the main issue would be with the original supplier - check with them for restrictions on their product and how they're happy for it to be branded/marketed.

    Removing Stock Issues

It depends on how well you rank for these items already. If you have any products which are very similar I'd either update the page to reflect these or do a 301 (permanent) redirect to the most similar product. For the rest there's a couple of ways to handle, either deactivate the product...

    Google has gone crazy!

Have a look at http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2010/11/petits-fours-in-your-search-results.html on the Google Webmaster Central Blog which should help explain things. Basically just means you're really relevant.

    Payment Gateway with no redirects

Reading Braintree's site, even with the Transparent Redirect , there's still a form on your website which posts data to Braintree, as this data is posted from your site it's deemed to be stored in memory and therefore PCI guidelines must be adhered to. This is basically how SagePay VSP Direct...

    Low Radiation cordless phones

However in this Daily Mail society NOTHING's good for you, it's just the way life is and you can only bubble wrap yourself so much. DECT phones, Mobile phones and WIFI are everywhere, and even if you eliminate them in our office the office upstairs/next door (if you have them) or you home/your...

    Low Radiation cordless phones

It's all a bit utterly ridiculous really - I had quick look through many of those articles and basically everything on the 2.4ghz spectrum can cause the same effects, so bye bye Wifi, mobile phones, cordless phones, baby monitors, video senders, microwave ovens and bluetooth if you want to help...

    Low Radiation cordless phones

Check out the Panasonic or Siemens ranges of 'eco-dect' phones which reduce emitting power. However, you are aware that cordless phones aren't dangerous in the slightest, not as bad as mobiles and many other things which are out to get you?
