Our experience with CL is that they apply the rule base GBP10.00 per kg for losses & damage. So if you were shipping items of value, then you lose out, unless you add the two bricks to every parcel. We had 2 losses within 2 months this year, after 8 years of no problems.
We investigated...
We still did not find a solution to this problem, having invited quotes from insurers, the best offer includes a GBP100 excess, and costs GBP300 / yr.
Still looking
We wondered then how some one like a retailer of attractive items covers themselves, when the cost of the item is GBP100 or...
Oh they said, right, we lost them, so we're going to charge you for the deliveries we never made, and then give you GBP10, so we were left with approx. GBP4 each for both items
There were 2 within 4 weeks of each other, both times scanned into the delivery depot and lost / can't find. We bought and sold the stuff as new, and supported our claim with purchase invoices.
Nobody seems bothered to investigate the circumstances
I was wondering about the package size, as...
Well maybe their policy varies by depot if this is your experience, as we've been given very short shrift. Our lawyer advised us in terms of bringing a successful claim, then our arguments are leaky at best.

Per kg you get GBP10 in case of loss or damage, plus, they charge you for the delivery they never made. So thats GBP4 we're left over...
We signed a contract 3 years ago for provision of WEEE services.
In year 2 we negotiated a price reduction based on market competition.
In year 3 [ now ] we are advised of a +50% increase, and the provider announced it within a period where cancellation was not an option, due to there being...

Well, we're not in any way connected with City Link, - have used them for 7 years, and think they're OK.
They did dip a couple of years ago, and we hade problems when they integrated Target, but we would say :
We recommend City Link as a reliable logistics partner for UK next day delivery...
We're with Santander, which currently offer 2% tops, over 30k.
Our bonus period is soon to expire, so that's then reducing to 1%
Any suggestions for good deposit rates ?
Sam Boogie,
What SagePay method are you using to process your payments ?
Direct or Form
If Form, then you escape from the requirement to have your servers scanned periodically
