    Best time to go Limited?

Thanks Elaine. No, the accountant doesn't have all of the info as I haven't appointed them, it was just an initial chat last year. I'm still looking around for an accountant so was just trying to get a general idea at this stage as to whether sooner rather than later was a good idea in terms of...

    Best time to go Limited?

Hi Reviewing my current situation and just wondering out of interest if there is any benefit of going limited from sole trader now rather than after the start of the new tax year? Taking into account the end of another tax year I just dont want to miss the opportunity. I have discussed all...

    Dividend Query

I was talking to a friend who says that rules regarding dividend payments have changed recently and must now be paid before the end of the tax year?? I hadn't heard of it and neither has my accountant but my friend insists its correct. My understanding is that they can be paid out of post tax...

    Corp Tax Losses

Because the ltd company route is far too complex for a very small, straight forward business. It shouldn't have been formed in the first place, but that's nothing to do with me! Trying to get an idea of what to do with the terminal losses but looks as if they will be wasted.

If you've had two employments in the year, both the 'previous employment' and 'in this employment' boxes will contain figures creating the total for the year. The 'in this employment' boxes are asterixed and the notes on the P60 form...

Existing Ltd company and introducing caravan letting

Pretty much as above...my consultancy business run through ltd company and I am looking at purchasing a static caravan to rent out. I was planning on purchasing the caravan through the business and it becoming part of my trade. May purchase additional caravans next year. Does this sound feasible?

Hi there Currently I'm backing up all customer databases and documents to a separate hard drive each day. I'm also thinking about backing up online as well, to have a back up off site. Has anyone got any suggestions as the most effective way of backing up data? Any software suggestions?

    Exchange Rates

Hi I incur expenses throughout the year in Euro and USD. Is it OK to include these in my accounts at the converted GBP rate (i.e. what it actually cost me in GBP) or do I have to use a specified rate by HMRC etc? Thanks.

PDF Form Creation and Email Submission

Just one form required. How would it be submitted and would it be secure?

PDF Form Creation and Email Submission

I've been looking at html forms, thanks for the suggestion. Some data submitted will be sensitive so it needs to be secure. Looked at FormNut, FormSite, Email Me Form, Form Stack etc. They're either full of ads or don't have have enough fields (I need about 70). I only need one form and am...
