    Question around Address Change

I am expecting them to wind up the company, I believe if they do this then first they will petition the courts (sorry I dont know the correct wording) at which point a voluntary or an involuntary strike off is blocked and no longer can happen. If that does happen then at that point I may...

    Question around Address Change

However i would like this thread to stay on topic so if you dont have any input towards that then thanks for your time but this isnt the thread...

    Question around Address Change

VAT and Corporation Tax are about £24k total owed. DLA is overdrawn by about £10k. So they will keep objecting as the DLA is an asset. My concern with leaving things is if I do not change the registered address then I will no longer receive any mail. Also I am sure my old account will...

    Question around Address Change

Hello, I ran a LTD Company which has fallen in to debt. I owe VAT and Corporation Tax and have an overdrawn directors loan. I have no assets in the company or personally and have no way to pay the debts. I filled out the DS01 form and as expected HMRC objected. I wrote to them to ask them to...

    Some questions

So that's the 2019-2020 year correct? Which doesnt need to be filed/paid until Jan 2021? If so then that is good for me as it gives me time to save money to pay it. I just wanted to make sure that is an ok thing to do and no one would come chasing if I didnt amend a previous return?

    Some questions

Should I amend a previous tax return? The period in question is for 2017-2018. Or should I amend my current self assessment? For 2018-2019, as this has already been filed. Or as the strike off happened in the 2019-2020 period should I add it to that one when its time to file?

    Some questions

I contacted a IP (Scotland) today to talk about my company. It has overdrawn Directors Loan and VAT and CT debts that I am unable to pay. My company has no assets (other than the directors loan) and I have no personal assets (dont own home or car etc). However when speaking with the IP they...

What counts as the company being insolvent? I havent filed anything yet, this years accounts have not been filed (not due for a couple months) and I havent had any wind up petitions yet. I plan to follow the spongebob plan this weekend and if that fails hopefully I will have saved enough to...

    Directors Loan

I have switched to PAYE. So basically everything withdrawn from the account (aside from Dividends) is DLA? All the accumulated Corp Tax and VAT etc?

    Directors Loan

Hello I have a question about directors loan. I'm going through insolvency and trying to find the funds to hire a IP but in the mean time I have a question. I worked as an IT Contractor through my own Ltd company and my accounts are overdrawn but I don't fully understand the directors loan...

    LTD Company Insolvency

Ok so I can send the DS01 and the Spongebob letter without filing my accounts? What benefit would there be over hiring an IP or filing and waiting for one to be appointed? If I hire one my understanding is id have to pay them a large sum. So what benefit would I have instead of saving that sum...

    LTD Company Insolvency

Hello, I am looking for some advice regarding ltd company insolvency. Basically I worked as a contractor (Scotland) using a LTD Company. In the beginning it was fine, i paid my corp tax and VAT as normal. I then started overspending funds, i kept telling myself I would be able to pay it back...
