Help with Mileage Claim Form, VAT and Sage!

I suppose when the allowance ppm rate and the VAT ppm rate are the same a Bank Payment would be the best. But under what nominal code, Scale Charges? If not and we were paying 30ppm or 40ppm allowance, I suppose a Bank Payment for the allowance and then Journal Debit/Credit for the VAT...

Help with Mileage Claim Form, VAT and Sage!

I can't see any requirement that the allowance has to be same or more than the VAT claim. I believe the employee can also claim the difference between what is paid and 40ppm in tax relief. If I paid the same to the employee as the HMRC rate is for VAT (20ppm in this case) does the following...

Help with Mileage Claim Form, VAT and Sage!

Maybe I'm wrong. But it seems that according to the HMRC advisory fuel rates. They deem the fuel consumed by the employee at 20p per mile based on that car, thus I can claim VAT back. The purpose of this is to claim VAT not to to reimburse the employee as that is handled in a different way...

Help with Mileage Claim Form, VAT and Sage!

Hi All, I've just set up a template to use for mileage claim form, and need to make sure it's correct, I asked my accountant and they couldn't provide the answer. First part of the form, I show each trip the employee has used his car for and the total miles travelled, we've agreed to pay 15p...

Should I send in the baliff?

At this time the liquidator isn't expecting a dividend. If I start the process via MoneyClaimOnline to him personally, any dividend can be taken off surely, if I wait for news of a dividend it could be weeks before I can start the claim.

Should I send in the baliff?

Been reading 'Should I send in the bailiff?', found it very interesting, I need some advice what to do next and didn't want to hijack the thread. I have a customer (ltd company) that is in liquidation owing just under £1500. The director signed a credit account form a continuing/personal...

    Meeting of Creditors, worth going?

This is the first time a customer hasn't paid, so I'm a bit green as what to do, any help would be much appreciated. One of my customers is holding a Meeting of Creditors soon. The company owes us around £1,500 for stock purchased, which I assume is not retrievable due to being fitted at his...
