Besides estate agents and Rightmove etc. where would you get started with locating land with the vision of building a warehouse? Specific locality does not matter, other than being within 20 miles of a specific town. E-commerce business, looking for ~one acre.
An electricity company [TotalEnergies] has raised £9 per day in standing charges. We got into a contract five weeks after possession at a reasonable rate, however, it has led to ~£400 in extortionate day rate charges for the period prior to the contract.
These charges are 1800% more than what...

The Customer maintains he has...

If we authorise DHL, UPS etc. to use our DAN number, does this eliminate the brokerage or handling fee that the couriers usually impose?
Two suppliers in Germany are advising that if shipping orders over 1000 Euros, there is a 45 Euro export paper fee - not per consignment but per box. They refused to ship our 10 boxes with DPD or DHL [on one waybill] and would only ship on a pallet which has one export fee.
Looking to...
Greece appears to be a problematic country to ship to for the time ahead for UK exporters.
Several of our business Greek Customers have mentioned a 120 Euro brokerage charge by DHL [excluding the duties and tax].
Does anyone know any ways around this or any 'better' couriers for Greece?
I am...

Everything clear in this thread on USD currency. What about EUROs? Are there PayPal UK account holders able to successfully withdraw EUROs to a Euro bank account?
