    Which is the best Shopfront???

The people you need to ask are your insurers, they will advise on what is required to satisfy the policy. I have no practical experience with either glass or shutters.

Use By Date: How far in the future can it be?

Or get smaller runs of date labels printed to stick on, or emboss the date/find a stamp that will work on your material

Use By Date: How far in the future can it be?

Two points come to mind... 1. As above label the date when packaging. Get the main 10,000 product labels printed with no date and stamp your own 2. Don't throw product away for the sake of a 0.10p label.

Offering vegan options in your restaurant/hotel/shop

This is my entire point, and something I am looking into before entering the world of food, maybe I'm the only one, but if not then it is a point the OP might find valuable. That's a good idea. To be clear though, I am not asking for advice and am aware my post was a little OTT, I am merely...

Offering vegan options in your restaurant/hotel/shop

I am looking at starting a food business and will have to cater for vegetarians and occasionally vegans. I wouldn't add it to the menu if I didn't have to because I don't fully understand the requirements(in a professional sense). I know I can't use a meat knife on vegetarian food, can I use a...

    Taking Payment

Oh, and as for mortgages I have no idea if we are being robbed. Maybe, but anyone willing to lend £150k to many many people A) have plenty of risk and B) have a sh!t tone of costs. I agreed to the terms so I'm not going to wine about it.

    Taking Payment

It does look that way. I have been doing some research today and learned a lot. My remaining question is how best to incorporate Card payments with cash... Can I connect both with one receipt printer? I guess I'll have to run an End Of Day process with each (cash and card) individually?

    Taking Payment

    Low-skill entry business ideas.

I don't have a business but if I had the cash I know I would be burying me head in a business plans asap and deciding which to go for. Start by asking yourself what you enjoy doing - would you rather be mowing lawns or listening to music? Also ask what you know about, do you the difference...

One day I'll own a business...

Hi all, I am more of a lurker than a poster but I thought I would introduce myself here and say hello. IronBob: First off I'm not Bob or Robert, my name is Adam. One day I'll be successful enough to be able to afford a Harley Davidson Sportster IRON modded in a 'BOBber' style. Kind of my...
