If so install the plugin "Smush" as advised above, it will automatically take the images to a compatible size.
If they still come up as too big on GT metrix - Then follow the link from GT and use that resized pic.
Hi Lee - The site is over 6 years old.
It used to be an old "web page maker site" and it was just forgotten about - now upgraded to WP.
It still ranks no1 for a few of search terms just doesnt seem to want to get updated by the indexing tool as quickly as usual.
Seems Google's latest "shake up" has slowed things down quite a bit.
The site is all green on GTMetrix and is really well constructed.
The pictures are 80% original content - Still taking their time to index them.
Am I doing something wrong??
Have had a site uploaded for over 3 weeks now, yet only 1 page is indexed.
I often resubmit it, yet no difference. Should it take this long?
