    Register trademark...under my own name?

    Hi, so if I register the trademark (my Ltd Company logo and name) in my own name that is absolutely fine? Do I not need to somehow prove the trademark is being used by the company?

    Thanks for the replies. Are there any drawbacks to registering it in my own name or should I do it under the company? If I did it in my own name how would they know I was using it or does that not matter?

    fisicx, I agree, I do generally trust the guy, I've met him in person and he is nice - I think perhaps he's just a bit useless in some ways. He's told me the name of the developer doing the site and been open with me that he is a free lance developer as their in house one isn't capable of this...

    Thanks very much for all the advice, really helpful. I heard from him today and have replied firmly and he has told me everything is in order and that there are reasons for the delays. He's assured me its not a scam so I hope things will begin to pick up again. I'll keep you updated. Thanks again
