Thanks Mark. Yes that's how I go about it, the normal way. Sometimes tradepeople (and all services/product providers before the others start) just don't go a good job. There's a good account on tiktok, a quality supervisor ripping apart dodgy shower installs, a lot on new builds actually. Little...
Oh dear, most replies have taken this the wrong way. It's not about terminology or the quality of services, it was a question about terms and conditions from the customer.
Cringe made-up story from @MBE2017 ??
Does anyone have any opinion on the OP? Be interested to know if you think it would work? More a discussion around the topic than anything serious. Seems to have got stuck on terminology :p
Ok tradesmen, probably "tradesperson" to be quite right. My point is the same. I'd say for every bad customer there is a bad tradesman so it's probably 50/50 to be fair.
I'm not saying the tradesperson doesn't have terms, they definitely should to protect them. Most agreements have terms on...
Maybe I'm dreaming but how about the customer calls the shots a bit more. Especially with handymen services - eg electricians, plumbers, carpenters/fitters. Terms such as: They incur costs due to their mistakes or delays, payment on completion and satisfaction.
Highly unlikely to work. To be...
I don't know if it's just me or everyone else at the moment, but we are really struggling to find good admin people to do well... admin! By admin I mean anything that the business needs doing on a day-to-day basis. For example:
> Approving applications to our website.
> Checking blog comments...
Looking for a bit of help tidying up ours and don't have the time or patience to learn how to do it! I did years ago but a lot of things have changed by the looks of it. We have a small adwords campaign of about £250 a month and tried some FB ads but don't know what we are doing.
Have all the...
Thanks. Yeah it's tempting as it's certainly easier to use and doesn't seem to need a signature from a solicitor. Having to have that defeats the object a bit doesn't it. Encouraging you to take action but then employ the services of a solicitor who isn't going to sign anything for free?
Any...
Hi
I read that the online system for small claims court is a nightmare and the system isn't very good and a bit of mess as it's relatively new. Not sure how true that is.
But I am looking at the paper method instead but isn't as easy to complete! On this bit: Name of claimant’s legal...
Yeah I'm not sure myself! But trying to image darting around the browser with a pen and think it might work. I guess the problem is how easy it is to type with a pen, not very. So you'd have to put the pen down and type, then pick it back up.
I know people use a digital pen more for picture or video editing or drawing. But does anyone use one just for general work? Always on the look out for working better, so wondering if a pen would be good.
