I'll take both, thank you very much!
We rank #1 for one term, which we also advertise on (coming usually in the top #3 positions). We get around double the visitors from the organic listing as the AdWords position, but the AdWords visitors convert better.
I'm sure it's very keyword and...
A question for any of the Adwords experts on here:
What's your opinion of the Adwords Conversion Optimiser and using it to bid using CPA rather than CPC?
Granted that CPA should be the stat that we are focusing on, but I am a little skeptical as to how well Google's automated tools are going...
If I remember rightly you switched to Magento for your store recently didn't you? You could always try using the Google Optimizer integration to split-test different product descriptions (obviously have to pick something with good traffic and sales to start with though...) - then you would know...
Well, you can easily send the tracking number to the customer with their order confirmation so they can track it too. We find it cuts down on the number of "Where's my order?" phone calls/e-mails that we get, as well as making the ones we do much easier to deal with.
I'm also quite curious about this, as it looks potentially quite straight forwards to integrate into a website. I've read a few articles about this over the past couple of years, but not seen anyone actually implement it...
This leads me to believe that either:
- this is a very well kept...
Ah, thanks for the reminder - I thought our feed should be OK, but it's good to check!
As an aside, does anyone have any tips/tricks that they're willing to share about getting products ranking in Google Shopping - ours do appear eventually, but not much joy in getting to the higher positions....
We also have a php script that works with 1.4.0.1 and still seems to be OK - you'd need to adapt it to your store but it took me about half-an-hour to knock up so I'd expect your web developer could do it if you can't...
As an aside, does anyone have any tips for optimising Google Shopping...
That's not the same thing though is it.....
I did have a look into it and it seems that there is currently no way to register a .cn domain without having some sort of Chinese presence. There was a few years ago, but there appears to have been a crack-down.
And yet, on a related note, my bank (MBNA) just sent me an e-mail today saying that:
:| How very odd. I guess it has been unpopular enough with their customers... but no real idea what (if anything) they are putting in place to replace it!
Just received this e-mail, has anyone received similar or heard of either of these companies (Hezu Design Corp or PXI-info)? While this is obviously a scam/extortion attempt of some sort, my concern is that, as we may actually want to open a Chinese website in a year or two, I wouldn't want...
Though of course, Google is borderline unavailable in China (you can access the Hong Kong version, but not always reliably) so I'm a little sceptical that it has even 28% of the market there.
As for why Baidu users read further down the page - well if you look at the results you'll quickly...
Yep, assuming B2C all your prices should include VAT (I'm not sure if it's a legal requirement or not, but definitely best practice).
If B2B then do what you like (usually ex-VAT) as long as you make it clear.
