    Looking for legal advice

No. In the same way when you get a utilities contract they don’t say there will be a charge to make a change.

    Looking for legal advice

That’s precisely what it means. Only they can move anything and do so will mean paying for the change (just like you have to pay for anything these days).

Oh dear - critical website issue - one or more modules are missing

@Onthebrightside - hopefully @ukwebhosting will get it all sorted as the developer was out of her depth. Sounds like the whole site needs a bit of an upgrade. Installing plugins to fix a Divi Bug! Bonkers.

    Looking for legal advice

Makes perfect sense. There is probably something in the contract about relocation - there usually is. Maybe Graham (@The Resolver) can help with this. Or our telecoms expert @cjd

    Looking for legal advice

What exactly is the issue? Most telecom contracts are pretty watertight which means moving to a new location may require you to continue to pay the existing contract or pay for relocation. What’s my business worth? Built a tool for UK SMEs — looking for feedback

That's going to be the biggest hurdle. 1. Making either party aware the service exists and 2. Convincing them and their legal representative and advisors to use the service. I'm not sure you aren't creating a solution for a problem that doesn't exist. The two times I've sold a business it all...

There was a member here some years ago used Google ads for market research. They invested money to see which keywords and other info generated clicks and used the data to help their SEO. As you suggest it’s not always about conversions. But that’s where you need to be eventually. I’ve got...

Are you sure the developer of the site is the host? It may be she just has a login to the account. If that is the case you should be able to claim the site.

Have you spoken to any solicitors about this? Getting them to use your portal may be a bit of a struggle. Even getting both seller and buyer to login and use the portal may be difficult.
