Hello,
you may have seen my post in the general forum regarding a logo. I have a rough idea and am looking to get something together pretty quickly:
1. It's going to be for an internet pr logo - primary market will be musicians, bands, DJs, record labels. Ages will generally be 18-40
2. I...
Cheers guys...here's the background;
The original "logo" (no1) was started by a guy as a first draft - he had meant to give me a lot of colours & more variations etc but something major came up over the weekend & he is no longer able to finish the project in time :(
I need the logo pretty soon...
Was hoping I could get a few opinions on fonts...it's late at night so I haven't even had the brain power to narrow them down yet...then I thought maybe I should get a few opinions before I do!
Icon needs a bit of finishing but it will have sound waves coming out...might put a gap in the circle...
I think the Static FBML application is one of the best out there - being able to brand your fanpage with code is fantastic. Many unbranded pages can be very samey/bland, especially if there is not a lot of interaction.

I just remembered this when I read your...
I'm with WP but I guess it depends on what you're used to & your technical ability. I've been told that blogspot is simpler if you're going for the non-hosted blog.
Quirky ads on Facebook could be be good...focusing on something like the 50p worker. Have you tried building an ad aimed at your clients on Facebook? What keywords did you use?
Have you got a Fanpage? Has it got a desirable title to draw clients in? So many business owners, managers etc are on...
follow through with the above then write some articles regarding your business - anything related to what you do or the people you help.
Submit the articles to high pr directory sites and add a link to your website in the resource box. This is one of the fastest ways to get indexed....and if...
yeah, askismet has been brilliant - it only takes a couple of minutes to register so dont be put off.
if you search plugins there are a number of others items you can add such as captcha codes, but def go with askismet!
In my previous business (running an internet record shop) our accountant said my partner could not claim (even though we had to pick up & drop off record collections regularly). This was nearly 10 years ago though - things may have changed.
Perhaps it depends on the nature of your business?
Yeah, I've found for reasonable quantities (anything over 100) its often better to get a professional to do it - home printer alignment drives me nuts (& I help out in a printers lol)
