    Cyber Insurance

What is it you specifically want to know? Generally it covers for: Pre/post incident support Security/privacy breach costs Extortion Damage to digital assets Business interruption (consequential loss) Liabilities arising around this. Be aware most insurers have tight requirements these days...

VAT Reclaim - how far back can you go?

What would rent qualify as? Our landlord is going to be adding VAT to our rent. How long do we have to claim that back?

    New Start-up Seeking Serious Investors.

Regardless of how good an idea you have, you don't seem to be doing a great job of promoting the opportunity. You've been down this road many time before. Why can't you get the money then? You're talking down the people in this thread and also the forum. Then telling people not to post. You...

    Advise needed

Thought that may be the case. Thanks. Not to derail, but the two year thing is such an easy get out clause.

    Advise needed

You'd be surprised. I worked for a company with a turnover of 8.5 billion and they hadn't a clue when it came to HR. I'm baffled how a company can let you go in the first two years by saying it's simply not working out. Not that I'm questioning it. Under what legislation is that permitted...

Ltd director insurances against sickness advice

Business Interruption is only for consequential loss to the business for things like buildings, contents, stock and such like. It would not provide any cover whatsoever in the event of sickness of a director. Two things to have a look at here. For your own income there is critical illness...

    Chat GPT

The thing I was most impressed with is that you can input some of your own writing and ask it to write in your tone of voice. Then again I'm not particularly tech minded, other than knowing the basics of operating it.

Possible exploitation. Please give me some employment advice

On the face of it, it definitely appears they're being taken advantage of. Knowing you, I'm sure you have, but have you checked they're even registered at Companies House and such like? I would never do anything without a contract these days. I say that as someone who has been stung in the...

    Chat GPT

I don't think you're seeing the full extent of it. If you're on Twitter/LinkedIn just type in and see the prompts people are applying to it and what it's producing. Take your point it relies on information that's out there already. It's also one of the reasons they released it to the public...

    Chat GPT

Or with respect, maybe take some time to read the post and understand what is being said rather than be so desperate to post your ‘expertise’.

    Chat GPT

Or alternatively they could bother their behind reading it and not jump to conclusions.

    Chat GPT

Nowhere did I say it should be free. I said it's rarely available these days in response to someone saying there was a free option. So I'm not really sure where your post is aimed.
